India has one of the oldest stock exchanges of the world namely Bombay Stock Exchange and its first Companies Act dates back to year 1866. The present Companies Act is quite recent of year 2012.

Securities Law is governed by SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) and covers within its ambit, regulations pertaining to Take Over of listed entities, Alternative Investment Fund Regime, Employee Stock Options Plans. Setting up of investment fund under SEBI’s Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) regime is another area where Company assists group of investors to float such fund as Collective Investment Scheme. AIF covers within its ambit, setting up of Venture Capital Fund, Private Equity Fund, SME Fund, Social Venture Fund amongst others.

We associate with entrepreneurs right from stage of incorporating a company or any other corporate structure such Limited Liability Partnership (LLPs) and assisting in various compliances under the applicable Indian laws. We also assist the entrepreneurs in preparing and finalising Shareholders and Joint Ventures Agreement considering provisions of Company law, Securities law and such other applicable laws in India.

We also assist the companies and LLPs in regular statutory and secretarial compliances; and maintain secretarial records.
